Dr. John Wright is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, who provides formal evaluations and treatment of patients with a broad array of known or suspected neuropsychological or psychological conditions. Dr. Wright provides a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessment services, including Independent Medical Examinations (IME), workers’ compensation evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations (FFDE), record reviews, consultation services, psychoeducational evaluations, pre-adoption psychological assessments, and ADHD assessments, among other activities. Services are provided in his office in Chesterfield, Missouri (near St. Louis), and upon request Dr. Wright also travels to provide services in other states (see below). He is also on the medical staff at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
His educational and training include the completion of his PhD at St. Louis University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Iowa (Hospitals and Clinics & Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine). Dr. Wright is a licensed psychologist in the states of Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois, and he is a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology - American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, under the auspices of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
Dr. Wright has been granted the authority to conduct telepsychology (APIT) as well as temporary, in-person, face-to-face practices (TAP) within another compact state by the PSYPACT Commission (in participating states).
Dr. Sara Wright is a licensed psychologist in the state of Missouri. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. She served as the pediatric neuropsychologist at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in St. Louis from 2006 to 2008, whereupon she transitioned into her current private practice. Dr. Wright maintains consultation privileges at Mercy Hospital St. Louis and at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. She also provides clinical supervision to doctoral students in the Psychological and Brain Sciences clinical psychology graduate program at Washington University.
Dr. Wright provides neuropsychological evaluations to preschool aged children through young adults with a variety of presenting concerns. Her specialties include the assessment of ADHD (initial diagnosis, differential diagnosis, comorbid learning and/or mood related problems, treatment issues), autism spectrum disorders, and learning disorders, as well as psychoeducational evaluations for determining educational programming needs.
Dr. Wright is authorized to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology in participating states through the PSYPACT Commission.
